Congratulations! You have a blog, and you’ve spent a lot of time creating content. You’ve even started to see some traffic from all of your hard work! If you’re ready to take it to the next level and start to get paid for efforts, there are plenty of ways to do that. Keep in mind that every blogger and business owner has a different strategy for how they monetize, so make sure that you implement a strategy that is best for you.
Offer a Coaching or Consulting Service
This is a great option for people who have a service-based business. It’s easy to set up an option where people can pay to have a 1-on-1 consult with you! If they can see that you’re crushing it and having a lot of success, chances are they’ll be interested in getting advice from you on how they can do the same. This one also allows you to charge more because you’re spending quality 1-on-1 time with clients providing invaluable advice that they won’t be able to get anywhere else.
Create and Sell Digital Courses
If you’d like to have a passive revenue stream even when you sleep, this is a great option. Take some time to find out what your customers want and create content around that. You’ll be able to feature the content on your website and share it with customers through email and social media. Once you’ve built out the course, you’ll just need to advertise it. But other than that, you’ll be on your way to making more money while doing less.
Become an Affiliate Partner
If you love a particular product, reach out to see if they offer an affiliate program. You’ll be able to share the project with your followers and customers and get a commission if anyone uses your unique link to make a purchase. By working directly with companies that you love, you’ll be able to make more money per sale and avoid promoting products that you don’t love.
Offer a Paid Membership Plan
If you’re constantly releasing new products and tools for your customers, you may want to consider offering a premium monthly service. This way, they’ll always have access to your latest greatest content, and you can have it all in one centralized location.
Display Ads
This is typically one of the first ways that bloggers start to monetize—I even have a couple on my website. Goggle AdSense lets you do this pretty early on, so it’s a great platform to get started with. The more visitors to your website, the more money you’ll make from the ads. So as you grow your website, it’s a great option to have ready to go.
If you’re starting to get traffic to your website, there is no reason why you shouldn’t start to monetize. It’s time to take action and choose one or two of the above methods to start bringing in revenue to your blog. You’ve worked so hard to build it up to where it is and now it’s time for you to reap the benefits.
